ECHO is a full-scale website design for an independent audio production studio that specializes in cinematic sound design and immersive audio experiences. The goal was to create a web presence that feels as rich and layered as the studio’s own work—visually dynamic, emotionally resonant, and technically precise.
The concept behind ECHO was “sound meets structure.” The site needed to evoke the power of audio through visual means—translating rhythm, depth, and resonance into a clean but atmospheric user experience. The design leans into contrast: sharp edges meet fluid motion, silence is balanced with intensity.
Dark mode dominates the visual tone, with deep blacks, soft glows, and subtle textures setting the stage for audio-led storytelling. High-resolution imagery, waveform animations, and ambient scroll effects create a cinematic feel throughout the site.
ECHO’s site uses a horizontal scroll on the homepage to mimic the movement of a track timeline, giving visitors a feeling of progress and immersion. Sticky audio previews, hover-activated clips, and layered parallax effects add interactive depth without overwhelming the user.
The typography is bold and condensed—evoking a sense of urgency and impact—while allowing key information to stand out. Visual markers like bars, pulses, and sound-reactive elements reinforce the studio’s identity and bring energy to otherwise minimal layouts.
ECHO is more than a portfolio—it’s an experience. The final design communicates the studio’s expertise not just through content, but through sensation, turning every interaction into an echo of the brand’s creative depth.
